While out on appeal Marc and his wife Vivian are having to stay on the move, they’ve faced intimidation and even guns from forces that wish to silence Marc. They are dependent on humanitarian aid from donors for both subsistence and legal advice, as a habeas corpus will not allow Marc to travel, his accounts in Brazil have been frozen and he cannot take a job.
